I really enjoyed participating in another blog project this semester. I liked the independent aspects of finding a story you deem newsworthy and reporting on stories you find interesting. Even though it was a great experience, this project also taught me how difficult it can be to find something worth writing about.

To be a journalist, I learned that you need to be active in engaging your audience while reporting on issues and stories that matter. I enjoyed the social media aspect to this project and sharing work and ideas through a digital space.

Although we didn’t experience too much engagement within our blog site and our Twitter account, I thought it was fun to have a platform where you could publish your stories for readers all over the world.
